Philosophy
The faculty of nursing clearly recognizes the philosophy of education of PNU that is based on principles of truth, freedom, service spirit and respect for humanity. We aim to develop scientific knowledge and skills; to educate and train professional nurses able to facilitate the health of patients through therapeutic care relationships and promote of individuals, families, groups and communities.
Educational subjective
- To recognize the developmental stages throughout human life cycle, understand the nursing process, and the relevance of human response to actual and potential health problems of the individual, family, group and community when applying in the care practice.
- To analyze research results in a critical manner, and apply and evaluate them in clinical nursing.
- To apply appropriate professional and ethical standards to the clinical practice of nursing.
- To use effective communication to make decisions in nursing practice for diverse patients at different stages of life.
- To identify solutions to the health problems of a patient in a scientific way through application of the nursing processes.
- To improve one's skills through advanced way of learning, using educational media and clinical practice.
- To develop research capability, practice well grounded nursing.
- To cooperate effectively as a prime component of health care system with variety of health professionals by multidisciplinary approaches.
