College of Nursing

Pusan National University Nursing Science Research Institute was established in June 2000. It provides basic data on nursing research activities, evidence-based nursing practice, and policy development in response to the demand for the development of nursing science. We are also pursuing globalization of nursing personnel through international exchange activities.
Through the holding of regular international academic conferences, the institute informs local nurses and nurses of the latest trends in international research on nursing research, knowledge and practical changes. Since 2005, the institute has held annual statistical courses to strengthen the capacity of nursing researchers in the region. In 2011, we started publishing 'Global Health & Nursing' journals and contributing to spreading the research activities of nursing researchers. 'Global health and nursing' is recognized as a professional journal in 2016 It has been selected as a candidate for the Korea Research Foundation and will continue to develop it into a higher-level professional journal.
In the future, Pusan National University Nursing Science Research Institute will enhance the knowledge, practice, research development and quality nursing service of nursing through enhancement of research capacity of nurses and will promote national health promotion. Through various research activities that incorporate IT technology, it will become a nursing science research institute that will meet the 4th industrial revolution era. Thank you.
